At French Bergamot, we only use ingredients that we trust and want you to trust.

We choose to only use ingredients and gentle preservatives which are approved by ECOCERT (arguably the most well-respected skincare certification organization in the world) and that are organic when possible.

Mango butter: Excellent source of vitamin A and C, maintains the softness and suppleness of the skin.

Aloe Vera extract (organic): Our aloe vera extract is concentrated 200 times, it deeply hydrates the skin, has cooling properties and is known to alleviate dry and itchy skin.

Shea butter (organic): High in fatty acids and vitamins, boosts skin moisture and restores lipid levels, it is believed to promote cell regeneration.

Glycerin (organic): Powerful humectant, a moisturizing agent that relieves dryness and softens skin.

Aqua: Distilled water, free of contaminants such as dissolved salts and colloidal particles.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E): Powerful antioxidant, protects the skin from external factors (such as air pollution), helps skin feel nourished.

Burdock root extract: Rich in vitamin B complex, helps reduce skin redness and may also have anti-ageing properties.

Sunflower oil (organic): Great source of vitamin E and linoleic acid, well-tolerated by all skin types, neutral in smell, helps skin retain its moisture.

Sesame oil (organic): Helps protect skin cells from damage caused by environmental factors, rich in oleic and other fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants, well tolerated by all skin types.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: Derived from coconut oil and glycerin, silky oil that creates a barrier on the skin’s surface, helps retain moisture and leaves a non-greasy aftertouch found in most commercial lotions.

Xanthan gum: Safe and natural agent derived from sugar, stabilizes and increases the viscosity of emulsions, also thought to have skin-conditioning properties.

Cetearyl alcohol: Coconut fatty alcohol, used to thicken and stabilize the texture of the cream, also acts as an emollient to help soften the skin.

Glyceryl Stearate SE: Plant-based emulsifier, contributes to a creamy texture, also acts as an emollient to make skin soft and smooth.

Sorbic acid: Gentle and safe preservative used in skincare and cosmetics, approved by Ecocert in organic formulations.

Benzyl alcohol: Gentle and safe preservative used in skincare and cosmetics, approved by Ecocert in organic formulations.

Salicylic acid: Used as a preservative in minute amounts to help prevent bacteria build-up, perfectly tolerated by all skin types in these amounts, approved by Ecocert in organic formulations.
