AHA How-to-use

Direction:

Incorporate: 1 to 10% in our unscented face cream or body lotion

  • 1 to 5% for regular use
  • 5 to 10% in an exfoliant face mask

Because AHA is acidic and is most effective in a slightly acidic pH formula of 4 to 5.5, it is best not to use it in combination with alkalinizing ingredients such as bamboo extract, clays or Vitamin C.

Caution: For external use only. Never use directly on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. AHA is highly concentrated; it is advisable to start with a small concentration once a week and gradually work your way up. Always do a patch test* in the inside of the forearm to check for skin irritation and sensitivity before using any of our products.

AHA may increase skin’s sun sensitivity. Always use sunscreen after using this product. If pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, we recommend consulting with your health care practitioner before using.

* Patch test: Dilute 1 drop of AHA in a teaspoon amount of neutral base cream or gel and place a pea size amount of the diluted mixture to your inner forearm. Place a bandage over it and wait for 24 hours. If there is a reaction within that time frame, discontinue use.
